Agur Lake Camp is BC's only wilderness campground for people with various disabilities their families and caregivers. It is a calm oasis for rest and rejuvenation from the challenges of living with illness or a disability.
The lake is 20 km west of Summerland, in the wilderness along a well-maintained logging road. Agur Lake Camp is where you come to get away from it all.
Our campers include people of all ages with intellectual, physical or mental conditions, limited mobility, visual or hearing impairment, seniors & youth. Frequent guests include group homes, support groups, community groups, youth groups, retirement residences, families and extended families.
Please note a power wheelchair, regular wheel chair & scooter is available for use for overnight and day use campers. Please book in advance when making a reservation.
Please note due to Covid-19 procedures, the following changes have been implemented for this season in our RV sites. Self contained RV units only are permitted in the dry camping sites. A Self-Contained RV includes the following:
Fully functioning toilet, sink, shower, stove & fridge
Accommodations NOT accepted during this time are tents and non-RV vehicle sleeping units such as: cars, SUV's, pickup box canopies, vans and tent-trailers which do not contain the above amenities.

Agur Lake Camp has three gorgeous 1368 sq ft cabins, each sleeps up to 6, all are fully furnished and fully accessible and with room for the largest of wheelchairs. They have covered wrap-around porches and BBQ's situated between cabins. The cabin kitchens are fully stocked with cookware, utensils, dinnerware and small appliances such as a coffee makers. Each cabin has a selection of games, puzzles and books but please bring anything specific to play with your group.

80% of the paths are paved with the remaining paths hard packed gravel. Some of the trails can be hilly so an electric wheelchair could be useful. If it is not possible to bring that type of chair with you, the Site Supervisors are more than happy to help you around the camp on one of the golf carts. They can take you down to the fishing dock or picnic pavilion and pick you back up again later on.
Come prepared to relax. Bring your books, board games, crafts and imagination. We offer adult swings, badminton net, child safety swing, sandboxes, horseshoe pit, bocce ball and basketball hoop. Enjoy our trails and use this wilderness experience to rejuvenate and reconnect with the great outdoors. You can fish from our safety-railed dock, the shore or a boat which can be launched across the lake at the forestry campsite. We also offer a beautiful observation deck with picnic tables providing a lovely space to enjoy the beautiful view of the lake. If you would like more activities during your stay, please feel free to organize an outing to the the Kettle Valley Steam Railway or invite an instructor to the camp to hold fishing lessons, accessible watersport lessons or trailrider outings. Guests are encouraged to organize crafting activities, campfire sing a longs & any other activities they wish!
Each bedroom includes:

Our facility has 7 dry RV/camp sites. There is no service hook ups for RV’s, but there is a water tap available and a fully accessible outdoor biffy.

Day Use Area
Looking for a place for your family or your group to have a group picnic or just be able to fish for the day? $3 per person gets you access to most camp amenities (listed below). Agur Lake Camp strives to be BC’s only barrier-free campground. We do not want financial need to be a barrier to campers. Thanks to generous private donors and the BC Rehabilitation Foundation, we are happy to offer sponsorship of up to one-night’s stay at the camp. Please indicate on your reservation form if you are requesting sponsorship, and we will get in touch.
We are open from mid May to September 15; depending on the weather. We take bookings on our website year round. Please check out the on line calendar for availability.
We understand that life doesn’t always go as planned, that is why we offer a 100% refund if you cancel your reservation 7 days in advance of your check in date. With less than 7 days warning, we offer a 50% refund.
Cleaning supplies are provided. Please return your cabin to the clean condition in which you found it at the time of check in. In the event your cabin is not returned to the same condition found at check in, your credit card will be charged at $100 for housekeeping to clean it.
